Shannon Tara Yvonne Anne Marie Champagne Kraichy Métis - French, Ukranian, Polish, Cree(?), Dene(?), Mohawk(?)This piece reflects the sadness felt when the ties connecting us to our ancestors are cut. It is incredibly difficult to find information about Indigenous members of my family tree. What I know/guess is from research through husband and children's information, geographical deductions, and reserve, HBC and NWC data. I live my life with the hope to discover more, but the realization that some details are lost forever.
