Biography
REASEARCH AND DISCOVERY
Humphry discover laughing gas by conducting experiments to determine the effects of inhaling nitrous oxide. He also discovered barium,calcium,boron,strontium, and magnesium. Davy also researched the formation of alkine metals.

Humphry Davy was awarded the Copley Medal in 1805, the Rumford Medal in 1816, and the Royal Medal in 1827

Humphry Davy was born on December 17,1778 in Penzance,Cornwall in the UK. Davy was born in the middle class, His parents were Grace Millet and Robert Davy. He had a brother named John David who was also a chemist. In 1779 he was apprentices toa surgeon at the Medical Pneumatic Institute in Bristol to study science.
