Episode 3:Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures

Jim: Miss Watson's slave that ran away after overhearing her saying he might be sold. Huck runs in to him on Jackson's Island and they become partners and star their journey together.Mrs. Judith Loftus: She is new to town and she is the woman that hosts Huck when he goes to town disguised as a girl. She learns that Huck is a boy (even though she does not know Huck) but promises she will not tell. Sarah Mary Williams: This is the name Huck uses when she goes to Mrs. Judith Loftus's house to get information about what has been going on in town.

In the beginning of Episode Three, Huck was alone on this great journey. He could not go back to town where everyone thought he was dead. After finding Jim he feels a sense of comfort. They still need to find out what is happening in town because they know people are looking for them, espceially Jim. So, Huck dresses as a girl to go in to town and when he finds out that Mrs. Loftus's husband is going to search the island after midnight he takes charge. He goes to the cavern, packs their stuff, and he and Jim take off down the Mississippi.
