It is an archaeological site consisting of the remains of an ensemble of Ancient Peru, pre-Inca, which features a three-story building called the "Temple of Huilcahuaín".

The hot springs of Monterrey, is 7 km. from the city of Huaraz, at an altitude of 2.703 meters. Monterrey has a large swimming pool and comfortable beds. Its waters reach a temperature of 49 ° C and are prescribed to relax, for rheumatism, paralysis, among others.

Chavin is an archaeological monument, located in the district of Chavin, Huari province, department of Ancash.It was the administrative and religious center of Chavin culture, built and occupied approximately between 1500 and 300.Their structures, truncated pyramid shape, are built of stone and mud mortar.

Huaraz has a warm moderated weather of tropical mountain. It is sunny and dry, with temperatures between 11-17°C and maximum temperatures that could overpass 21°C.

It is the capital of the Ancash Region. It is located in the central part of the Callejon de Huaylas Valley. With an elevation 3,052 metres(10,013 ft)
