The Holocaust started in German from 1933 and it ended in 1945.
Holocaust
The genocide was led by Adolf Hitler who belonged to the Nazi Party.
The Holocaust was a devastating event that resulted in the genocide of six million Jews and millions of others.
There were many different concentration camps that served different purposes. These concentration camps consisted of Jews and other minorities that the Nazis didn't consider 'worthy'.
There were many casualities during the Holocaust, and one of them was Anne Frank. She was the daughter of Otter Frank and Edith Frank. She wrote in a diary about the whole ordeal. Unfortunely only Otter Frank survived the Holocaust, but he published her diary as it was Anne to one day publish her story.
The photo to the left is the Star of David which would identify who was a Jew. All Jews were made to wear them on their clothing.
