HomesThe mohawk tribe lived together in wooden houses called long houses. Long house were normaly built near rivers and streams. They were often hundred feet long. Crafts and toolsSome crafts that the Mohawk did were bead work. The Mohawk used bows, arrows, spears, fishing poles, clubs, flint knives and wooden hose.

locationThe Mohawk tribe lived in the area around the great lake and part of Canada. They live near flat land which are near rivers and forests.

ClothingMen wore breechcloths with leggings and the women wore wraparound skirts with shorter leggings. They also wore moccasins on their feet.

HuntingThe mohawk tribe eat fish, deer and buffalo. They used sharp materials to hunt for food.
