His brothers names were Albert aged 27 and William aged 22.Henry was 24 when he enlisted in the war.Not Henry or his brothers were married and they worked as a labourers exept for William who was a saw mill hand.
Henry's rank was as a private and fought in the 53 battalionhe enlisted on the 23rd of October 1916.He also worked as a labourer back home and his religion was a presbyterian.
