Henry Ford

Henry Ford was born July 30, 1863, near Dearborn, Michigan. Henry left his home on a farm when he was 16 years old because he wanted to do more than be a farmer. In 1896 he invented the Ford Quadricycle which was his first model of an automobile. Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb liked Ford's plans and told him to keep at it.In 1903, Henry Ford started the Ford Motor Company and in 1908 he started building the Model T car.The Model T was cheap to build and fix for American customers. It cost $850.00 for a Model T Ford in 1908.Henry Ford died on April 7, 1947, at the age of 83.
