Henry Ford was a very smart businessman. He started the Ford Motor Company. He is one of the reasons Detroit is called "The Motor City"
Thomas Edison was Henry Ford's mentor and later they became close friends.
Greenfield VillageGreenfield Village is located in Dearborn, Mi. Henry Ford opened it in 1929 to preserve historic landmarks. If you walk through the village it seems like you are back in the 1800's. You can visit the courthouse where Lincoln practiced law, Edison's Menlo Park lab, the Wright brotheres house and many more interesting sights. Below is Edison's lab
