?
How many people have it?
Some famous people with it are: Richard Burton(A famous actor in the 60's and 70's). The last Tsar of Russia, Alexi had it. Queen victoria passed it on to her son, Leopold. Some people believe that Genghis Khan and Abraham lincoln had it, but there is no way to confirm this, since they had no recorded information of this.
Hemophilia is a somewhat rare, bleeding disorder, that prevents blood from clotting correctly; and that is a problem, because without the clotting factor(platelets), you could bleed to death from a small cut(which is an overstatement for certain types of hemophilia.
Besides the inherited Hemophilia, the other kind is Acquired Hemophilia, which is caused by abnormal bleeding under the skin, or at muscles; for example.Between 14% - 25% of children that have sever hemophilia A develope an immunity to the clotting blood cells, making it hard to treat.
