Helen Keller

Helen Keller got scarlet fever when she was almost 2 years old and it caused her to go deaf and blind! A teacher by the name of Annie Sullivan came to live with her and to teach her how to live with her disabilites.

Helen Keller learned to communicate so well that she attended and graduated a 4 year college with honors.

Helen started travelling from town to town to explain her story and sharing hope for those who have disabilities. She helped advance the language of Braille.
