In ordor for this form of heat transfer there needs to be direct contact. say you left you bole of soop with your spoon in it will be hot due conduction or in lamens terms the wrmer mattter or the soup will always go to the colder matter or the spoon

EXAMPLES OF RADATION

Convection is when warmer particles go up in to the air or water and comes back down to be reheatedlike say you heater the warm air gose out gets cold comes back down and gets reheated this is called a convection cicle

CONVECTION

Radation comes from the sun an can travil through the empty vacum of space.You may think that a micro wave uses radation yes it dose but it dose not have the same radation as the sun
