Hearing Aids

How Can it Help?1. Hearing aids can help children who are hard of hearing pick up sounds, or even fully hear sounds.2. They allow children to participate in conversations and improve speech comprehension and communication skills.3. It can help improve their learning envirnment overall by allowing them to focus better because they can also help eliminate background noise so they can just focus on the tecaher's voice.

A hearing aid is a small electronic device that sits behind the users ear. It receives sound through a microphone then converts it into an electrical signal that gets sent to an amplifier. The amplifier then amplifies the sound and sends it to a speaker inside the user's ear. This allows the user to pick up sounds more easily!

Hearing aids are for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. The extent of the hearing loss depends on the type of hearing aid the student may need.
