Healthy Computing Tips
Sit arm’s length away from the monitor
Don’t use wrist or armrests while typing, only while resting
Balance the brightness of your monitor with its surroundings.
For ultimate comfort, while sitting in chair make your feet are resting on the floor.
When approaching work station, sit in chair with back against chair.
Placing your mouse too far from your keyboard could ultimately lead to neck and shoulder pain.
Consider using a different input device to reduce repetitive arm motions.
Keeping your forearms in one place and using your wrists to “flick” the mouse can increase intracarpal pressure-leading to wrist and finger pain.
Make sure your keyboard is in a proper position (it should be placed just above the level of your lap)
Keyboard Tip
Placing your mouse too far from your keyboard could ultimately lead to neck and shoulder pain.
If you have a broad chest consider using a split keyboard.
