[2015] Jeffrey DeKam: Haters and Trolls vs Digital citizens

James 4: 11-12Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the lw and judges the law. But if you judge the lw, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?

Digital Citizens

Haters and Trolls

There are many differences between haters and trolls and digital citizens. Digital citizens think about what they post and the effects they may cause, on the other hand haters ad trolls will not.

Haters and trolls can cause many effects on people. They are rude and mean to people online. They post pictures and comments that tear down others. They can do this because they are private and no one can stop them.

Digital citizens can be helpful to people. They can be upstanders, not bully people online, and be friends to the targets. Digital citizens will think about what the comment and post pictures about. We are more responsible and respect others.
