Common Variable Immune Deficiency is not contagious, but the cause is unknown. However, recent studios have shown the involvement of a small group of genes in a few patients.

CurabilityCommon Variable Immune Deficiency is not curable. The common treatment is immunoglobulin (antibodies) replacement therapy and regular checkups. Some side effects of the treatment is a low fever and aching muscles or joints.

Some common symptoms of Common Variable Immune Deficiency are: many infectionsvomiting weight lossand a decreased ability to fight infections. Some people develop large lymph nodes and you can have an increased risk of cancer.

The main sign of Common Variable Immune Deficiency is having frequent infections.The worst thing that could happen is having frequent lung infections, which can lead to permanent damage.
