Who Harriet Tubman was and what she did...

Born in Dorchester County, Maryland in 1820.Died March 10th, 1913 in Auburn, New York

Tubman was an Legendary conductor of the Underground RailRoad. She is whom helped hundreds of slaves escape to the "Underground RailRoad", or safe houses, along their journey to the north to become free.

This process of saving others put herself in danger. Any person who wanted to change thir mind and go back, Tubman would pull out a gun and tell them "become free, or die a slave".

Besides her slave days, Harriet Tubman was also known for her service in the Civil War. During this time she was an nurse, scout, spy, and soldier with the U.S army in South Carolina. She also fiought for women suffrage. As you see she is a busy, & kindhearted women.
