His grandma is about to lose her house so Happy decides to join a golf tournemet to get the money to pay off the house. Happy ends up going into the PGA tour. His skills are overshadowed by his bad boy attitude, which gives him a loyal following. It also atracts Shooter McGavin, the favorite to win in the PGA tour. Happy practices with Chubbs at mini golf to get better. Chubbs gives him a club that looks like a hockey stick. Happy must win the championship to get his grandma's house back. We chose Happy Gilmore because it is one of few movies that makes golf watchable. Usually golf is a very boring sport to watch but with Happy Gilmore it is very funny to keep viewers intersted. It is also one of the best movies of the 90's.
