Also known as Coxsackies Virus and simply Hand, Foot, and Mouth, this disease ahs a incubation period of up to 3 to 6 days and is communicable for an addition 7 to 10 days!

What are the Signs?Hand, Foot, and Mouth starts with a fever followed by blistered sores in the mouth/cheeks. Within 1 to 2 days a raised rash will begin on the palms of the childs hands and on the soles of their feet.

How Do Children Get it?Hand, Foot, and Mouth is transmitted from child to child via contact with saliva, feces and discharge from the nose.

How Do I Control Spreading?Once a child with Hand, Foot, and Mouth has been identified exclude the child for a few days. Wash your hands and the children's frequently (especially after changign any diapers). Ensure surfaces are cleaned and disenfected regularly.
