Halogens are non metals. They are genaerally very chemically reactive.
Halogens are located on the 7th group of the periodic table.
Pysical- Brittle, poor conductors of heat and electricity, low boiling and melting point.Chemical- Highly reactive, a yellow gas that is posionous, has high levels of toxicity.
-Flourine is added into toothpaste and detergant-Chlorine is used as a bleach for manufacturing paper and cloth-Bromine is used to disinfect water-Lodine helps treat allergies-Asatine is used in the treatment of cancer-Ununseptiumn is an artificial element that has no current uses up to date
