Your text hereIt was a process that took upwards of 300 years. At first, when the European colonists reached American shores, they had no need for more than limited contact with the indigenous natives of the land. When the colonist population grew, it became necessary to form a working relationship with the indigenous tribes and with the time the natives assimilated the new society, they changed the way they lived, changes their language, traditions and believes.

Haiti was controlled by Spain since 1493 to 1795 and then was controlled by France since 1625 to 1804

Some weapons were-Steel swords of the conquest were about three feet long and relatively narrow, sharp on both sides -harquebus, a sort of early musket. -the crossbow was a European weapon designed to defeat armored knights

haiti was taken over because european countries were looking for resources such as (gold, iron, oil, etc) and more land.
