GUSTAV KLIMT symbolist painter(1862-1918) -born in Vienna, Austria -he attended Kunstgewerbeshule (school of arts and crafts) for seven years -he was one of the greatest decorative painters of the twentieth century -he produced one of the century's most significant bodies of erotic art -Gustav Klimt's most famous painting is "The Kiss" -one of Europe's most famous artists
