Grey-headed Flying Fox

Grey-headed flying fox in flight.

The grey-headed flying fox is a species endemic to Australia. Bats are the only mammal to fly, but what makes them more unique is that its fur covers its body down to its ankles. Other bats have fur that only covers their body down to their knees.
