Green Sea Turtles
Once the eggs hatch, the little hatchlings must make the journey from the beach out into the sea. The hatchlings will usually stay in unanchored seaweed offshore for 3-5 years where they find food and shelter from predators.
Offspring
The female turtle can carry up to 200 eggs while pregnant. The female delivers the eggs into a pit she digs on the beach. She will cover up the eggs with sand and return back to sea, leaving the eggs to hatch on their own in 2 months.
