Great White Shark

Great White Sharks have a sleek streamlined body with a crescent-shaped tail. They also have very large jaws with triangular, sarrated edged teeth. Their eyes are black and they can grow up to 6 meters and wweigh up to 3000kg.

Great White Sharks eat a veriety of fish species. Elephant seals, sea lions, penguins, dolphins, squid, turtles, other sharks are just a few of the things they prey on. They also scavenge off of some marine animals and dead whales.

The main predator of Great White Sharks are humans.

Habitat:Great White Sharks live in water that is temperatures from 54 to 75 degrees fahrenheit.

The cause of great white sharks being endangered is they are being hunted for their teeth and fins. They are also getting caught in the nets that are supposed to protect beaches. The date that great white sharks were put on the endangered species list was May 28, 2013. There are about 3,500 great white sharks left in the oceans.

Great White Sharks live in costal waters all around the world. Some examples of where they live are: USA, South Africa, Japan, Oceania, Chile, Dyer Island and the Mediteranian Sea.
