Gravity

The equation for acceleration on Earth:

What is the difference between mass and weight?Mass is how much matter an object contains while weight is how we measure gravity.

Why are there gravity differences on other heavenly bodies? There gravity differences on other heavenly bodies because they [heavenly bodies] vary in size and mass (i.e., the bigger the planet the more you weigh, the smaller the planet the less you weigh.)

What affects gravity?

1. Mass2. Distance

What Exactly is Gravity?

Gravity is the force that objects exert on each other because of their mass. A good example of gravity is an apple falling from a tree. Gravity works on the apple and pulls it toward the earth.

GRAVITY

Fact: all objects with mass have gravity.

Example of gravity:

This is an example of gravity because gravity is pulling the skydivers toward the Earth.

Acceleration in gravity fields is an expression used in physics to indicate the intensity of a gravitational field
