Goliath Bird Eater

Spiders have structures designed to get rid of nitrogenous waste. These are called malpighian tubules and function in a manner similar to our own kidneys. Spiders don't produce urine like we do, but produce uric acid, which doesn't dissolve in water and is a near-solid. Spiders have this alternate form of waste because they can't afford to lose as much water as we do. These malpighian tubules drain into an pouch attached to the digestive tract ,called a stercoral pocket, so the uric acid waste from the "kidneys" is combined and eliminated together with solid waste from the digestive tract. In this sense, spiders don't deposit separate feces and urine, but rather a combined waste product that exits from the same opening.

The Spider

The Goliath Bird Eater is a very large Arachnid, that can be very fearsome up close. Although it's called a "Bird Eater", most of its diet relies on large insects or small rodents such as mice.

This large beast of a spidercan be very frightening to many humans. Although the spider itself is nearly harmless. The venom from a bite, will create the same effect caused by a large wasp change. The pain that might be caused by this is from its bite, as its fangs can grow up to an inch big.

Habitat

The Goliath Bird Eater is known to mainly reside in the northern part of South America, The Amazon. This area provides much cover for the spider, as one of its tactics for catching food, is catching its prey by surprise.

Reproduction

When a male decides that it is his time to mate, he will go to the burrow of the female and try and draw her out. He will use his mating hooks on the front of his legs to block her fangs, to ensure the female doesn't try to kill him during mating.Shortly after the male will try and make a fast get away as the female will likely try to kill and eat him after.
