The Glacier is 30 kilometers long.It is 4,5 km wide and 170 metres deep.

At the moment the glacier is breaking up and melting.

It cover 250 square kilometers.

The glacier guarantees the supply of water to the rivers that are sources of water for the population and agriculture.

In addition , the glaciers have a global function , because the surface repels the sun's rays and help make the planet absorb less solar energy.
