David livingstone was born on the 19th of March 1813 He was a Scottish medical missionary with the London missionary society. He was also an explorer in central AfricaUse texts and graphics from our galleries - you can change the color and font!

WHAT DAVID LIVINGSTONE WAS TRYING TO FIND.

In 1836 Livingstone went to Anderson's College in glasgow . Shortly after he decided to join the London missionary society. Livingstone first went to China as a missionary but the LMS decided for him to go to the west indies instead.

Livingstone lost contact with the outside world for six years and was ill for the last four years of his life. He died on the southeast of lake bangweulu in Zambia on the 1st of may 1873 from malaria and internal bleeding caused by dysentery
