How To

How To Construct a Parallelogram:1. draw a line segment with a straightedge.2. extend the line segment with a dotted line.3. draw a line from one of the endpoints.4. duplicate the angle: a. swing an arc that instersects both sides of the angle. b. duplicate the same arc on the opposite endpoint. c. measure distance between the intersection points on the original. d. duplicate the same distance on the oppostie endpoint and keep your construction marks. e. from the opposite endpoint draw in a line segment through the intersection point on the angle.5. draw a line segment from the new endpoint to the other endpioint to create a quadirlateral.6. you now have constructed parallelogram.
