Who we are:

Intended Actions:'What happens now?'

Supervisors:

Soldiers:

As a supervisor, make sure your combatants wear their hearing protection at all times. A financial incentive of 2% of yearly income will be rewarded to supervisors who comply

After each auditory assessment, it can be determined whether or not enforcement of hearing protection is in place

This means consistent hearing or a maximum decline of 2% per year amongst soldiers

As a soldier, it is your duty to constantly wear hearing protectitive device. This will reduce your risk of hearing damage and of all its negative side effects

If you don't wear hearing protection, you will be issued a warning the first timeRepeated lack of use will result in your being sent home

Remember: Continuous high level sounds are implicated in sleep disorders, cardiovascular disease, and mental illness

Supervisors who do not enforce hearing protection use will be issued a warning from the Department of National Defence followed by termination upon consequetive incidents

Motivate your team! Improve health outcomes, receive incentives and encourage others to serve our Nation!

We aim to eliminate preventable injuries in the army We are aware of the hazards involved with serving our nation, however reducing the risk of adverse health effects is achievable We must honour those who fearlessly serve our country by ensuring safety measures are implemented in army training and while fighting abroad, the physical and mental wellbeing of our forces will be protected
