Inner vs Outer Planets

The inner planets of the solar system are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. The outer planets are  Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

The inner planets are smaller than the outer planets. They are solid, made of rock and metal. Inner planets also are closer to the sun then the gas planets.

The outer planets are different from the inner planets because they are larger and are made of gases and liquids. The outer planets are also farther away from the sun then the inner planets.

The inner planets have a slower spin and orbit than the outer planets. The outer planets have faster orbit and spin.
