Sacagawea should be memorialized because of her great contribution on the Lewis and Clark Expidition of 1804. She served as a interpreter and if she wasn't there the expidition would have had to turn back. Thats why Sacagawea deserves a memorial.

Biographical info-She was born in 1787-She died giving birth in Fort Manuel-She was captured at age 11 by hidatsas-She married a french canadian fur trader at age 12-They had two children Jean and Lisette.
