Melting Glacier

Global Warming Info:Global Warming is a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants. Some Causes of Global Warming: * too much carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere* As we burn fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas for energy or cut down and burn forests to create pastures and plantations, carbon accumulates and overloads our atmosphere.

When you use fossil fuels, like heating oil to keep your house warm or gasoline for your family's car, these things create carbon dioxide, also called CO2. Carbon dioxide is called a greenhouse gas. Many scientists believe that greenhouse gases are making the earth too warm. Your carbon footprint is the total amount of CO2 you create. A big carbon footprint is bad for the planet.

Global warming is becoming a even bigger threat as the years go by, yet only in the last few years has come to public attention in a serious way. It has become a very important issue today due to threats. It imposes on regular day life, all around the world.

5 Ways To Reduce Carbon Footprint.1.) If you live close to school, walk instead of using a car.2.) Turn off the T.V completely when finished using it.3.) Lower the temperature in your house during the winter and raise it in the summer. 4.) Reduce the amount of trash you create by recycling and reusing items.5.) Use less fossil fules.
