German Shorthaired Pointers

German Shorthaired Pointers

German Shorthaired Pointers are outstanding hunting dogs. They "point" when they see game, such as pheasants and other birds. They keep their tails pin straight and stare in the direction of the bird.

These dogs also make great companions. They are intelligent dogs and are capable of learning many tricks. A perfect day for one of these dogs is hunting through the day and being with their owner in the evening.

The German Shorthaired Pointer is a lean, well-balanced hunting dog with a long muzzle, expressive, almond-shaped eyes, a large nose, and broad, floppy ears.

This German Shorthaired Pointer is in point.
