Georges Seurat
Georges Seurat was born on December 2,1859 in Paris, France. He attended E cole des Beaux- Arts, which is a famous art school in Paris in 1878. Claude Monet and Camille Pissarro inspired him to change his painting style. He created a new style of painting called Pointilism. Instead of blending the colors together on a palette he would create tiny dots. He mostly painted people from the streets of Paris. One of his most famous paintings is A Sunday on La Grande Jatte. His many works became famous and he eventually inpired artists such as Vincent Van Gogh. He died in Paris, France on March 29, 1891.
