Relation to my personal experienceThe relationship between the story and my personal experience is that Cain felt rejected because he thought his offering to the Lord wasn't good enough creating a feeling of jealousy between him and his brother Abel. This story relates to my personal experience because everyone feels rejected in life. Like this one time when I was 5 I wanted to dance with my friends at recess and they told me I wasn't a good enough dancer to be able to join their dance club. I felt rejected and I got very jealous and decided to tell on them on my lunch and recess supervisors and got them in trouble. By the end of recess I had my friends back and we were all good but in the story of Cain and Abel, Cain will never be able to ge his brother back. Everytime we think we are being rejected from something good, we are simply being re-directed to something even better. Sometimes feeling rejected is what we need to realize what is important and what really matters in life. If i hadnt told on my friends than i would completely realize that those girls weren't even good friends for rejecting me in the first place. if Cain had brought the right offering for the Lord than he would'nt have gotten rejected and further on furious with his brother.

Summary of the story of Cain and Abel.Adam and his wife Eve had a baby son. When he was born Eve said "By the Lord's help I have gotten a son." She named him Cain. Later on she had another son named Abel. Abel then became a shepherd and Cain became a farmer. Cain brought some of his harvest as an offering to the Lord. Abel brought one of his first lambs to his sheep, killed it and gave the best parts as an offering. The lord was pleased with Abel's but rejected Cain's which made him furious. The lord then told Cain that if he had done the right thing he would be smiling but since he did the evil, sin is crouching at his door. Cain then killed his brother Abel on the fields. When the Lord asked about Abel he said he didn't know where he is. The lord then told Cain that he can no longer grow crops because he is put under a curse. The soil will not produce anything even if he tried and he will forever be a homeless wanderer on the earth and that no one may be aloud to kill him. Later on Cain married a women and together they had a son named Enoch.
