Gambia Traditional Dance
The Kora, a 21-stringed African harp, is one of the most important instruments belonging to the Manding peoples of West Africa. It can be found in The Gambia, Senegal, Mali, Guinea and Guinea-Bissau. The Kora, along with a handful of other instruments, belongs exclusively to the griot families of West Africa.
People in Gambia are very friendly. When you walk by them the will say "Hah-lo" or " How ah you?" But sometimes when you walk by kids they might say "Toubab!" which means white person. Some people are very nice and ask you how your day is going. All together Gambia is a great place and a great place to live.
