The Church was against Galileo's book and summoned to Galileo to Rome. Ultimately, he was convicted of heresy and spent his remaining years under house arrest.My favorite invention that Galileo made is the telescope because with this advancement, humans can now examine and study exterrestrial life and the unknown.
