Galileo Galilei
Developed the most advanced telescope in 1609 by combining different lenses
Galileo Galilei was born on february 15, 1564 in Pisa, Italy. He was the first of six children of Giuilia Deli Ammannati and of Vincenzie Galilei.
We cannot teach people anything; we can only help them discover it within themselves.
Galileo began his education at a nearby monestary. Seven years later he studied medicine at the university of Pisa. In 1583 Galileo began his studies in mathematics and physics which ended his medical career.
Where the senses fail us, reason must step in.
*Proved the theory of Nicolaus Copernicus theory wrong by dropping two balls of different masses from the tower of Pisa, proving that speed of their descent was independent of their mass.*He also hypothesized that the Earth and other planets revolve around the sun and not viceversa.
