Vitamins are important because they preform hundreds of roles in the body such as keeping bones healthy, enabling us to naturally heal our wounds etc. They are usually abundant in the fruit and vegetables we eat.

ProteinsProtein is a molecule in food that can be broken down into amino acids. Protein helps build, maintain and replace tissues in the body i.e. muscles. Proteins are commonly found in meats eggs and beans.
