Claudia and Jamie lived and went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They had lived there for a week. It had a French Arts room, Medieval Arts Rooms, Greek and Romans Art rooms, and so much more. In the museum there were two floors and a restaurant with a fountain. Cluadia and jamie slept in a bed that was found in the fine French and English furniture.The Metropolitan Museum was full of people and excitement when it was open. There were classes roaming and learning. There were also a ton of paintings. The Metroplitan Museum is also found in New York City. It was a wonderful place!

Book Report !

One main event happens when Claudia and Jamie run away.They ran away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Claudia was the one who wanted to run away. She asked Jamie to help her because she knows he has a ton of money and he is quieter than his other siblings. They plan to go to school by first going on the school bus. They then go on a train to New York City. Claudia really wanted to take a taxi, but Jamie did not want to waste money. "Claudia," Jamie said, "youare quietly out of your mind. How can you even think of a taxi? "

Main Events

The main characters are Claudia and Jamie. Claudia loved to spend money and waste it. She always corrected her little brothers and sisters when their grammer was wrong. She was also the one who decided and wanted to run away becuase she had "too many chores". Jamie on the other hand always saved his money. He would always cheat on his friend, Bruce at war. Jamie was always up for an adventure. He is also very eager. Some other characters in the story is Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler who had white hair. "It's altogether white now and looks like frayed nylon thread."

One problem was finding out about Angel. In the middle of the story Claudia and Jamie wonder if Michelangelo really made Angel. They at first sound a clue that is Michelangelo's sign, but it turns out it wasn't. They tried to do research on him at a library. They tried all that they could. They then finnaly decided to go to Connecticut and see Mrs. Frankweiler. Claudia and Jamie had asked about Angel. There was an answer. It had been discovered in her Italian files.

In conclusion, Claudia and jamie finally find about Angel. Mrs. Frankweiler tells them that it is really made by Michelangelo. She finds this information in her Italian files. "It was labeled: BOLOGNA, ITALY." That file had the secret Claudia and Jamie were awaiting for. "They had found the file that held the secret."

I loved the book!There was so much excitement, and it was super tense! The book was full of adventure! It had a very interesting setting. The characters had different personalities. There were also really funny times. The book shows some realistic fiction! It really shows that these kids can live on their own! In conclusion, I adored this book!
