Once you have observed your tadpoles, draw an illustration of what they look like today.
The word amphibian comes from the Greek word amphibios, which means to live a double life. The noun amphibian has its roots in the words amphi, meaning of both kinds, and bios, meaning life. The word is used for the class of animals that spend part of their lives in water and part on land.
After you have observed your tadpoles, write at least three good descriptive sentences about what you have observedFor example: My tadpole is swimming in the bottom of the tank becase it is eating algea off the bottom.
My tadpole is cool... is not a descriptive sentence!
WRITE ABOUT IT:Based upon your observations, what stage is your tadpole? About how old do you think your tadpole is? What do you base your answers on?
