He became involed in a local Italian gang known as the 104th Street Gang, and was eventually the head of it.
After the leader of the gang "Lucky" Luciano died, Costello became the major leader of the Luciano gang and renamed it to the Genovese gang.
All of Costello's life he would continue to shape and create modern crime along side other gangsters like Al Capone and "Lucky" Luciano.

Frank "the Prime MInister" Costello is born on January 28, 1891 in Cosenza, Italy.

Costello eventually died later that year from a heart attack after being released from prison.
