The croissant

The principal food is the The Croissant (Is butter, crescent-shaped bread is France’s answer to the American fast food. It is the main staple at every French bakeries and can be easily eat with a fruit jam, a café-au-lait (milk coffee), or all on its own. Although it’s not a dish per se, there’s nothing more French than eating a hot, freshly-baked croissant right in the heart of Paris.

•French wine is immensely popular all over the world. The country is one of the largest wine-producing nations in the world. There are 17 distinct wine-producing regions like Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Loire and Provence that continue with the tradition of wine making in France.

The name "France" comes from the Latin Francia, which means "country of the Franks"

The general attire in France resembles that of many western countries in that is mainly casual entailing mostly jeans, sneakers and a t-shirt for both genders. When winter sets in Jackets, gloves and scarves will be added to this attire.
