France's Capital City is Paris. (population 2,152,423)

The French have plenty of different types of foods. What I am going to talk about are the baked goods. Examples of some include éclairs, croissants, and baguettes. The croissant is a quarter moon shaped pastry which is commonly eaten with butter spread on it. A Baguette is a long stick of bread which has a crunchy outside and a soft inside. Éclairs are like cream puffs, crisp outside and delicious whipped cream.

The currency the French as using curently is called euro (yur-oh). You can get euro bills for 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, and 500 euros. They also cary coins for 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50 euro cents. Every euro is divided in to 100 euro cents, just like with Canadian Money.

France’s Flag called Le tricolore (the tricolour) consists of three colours, blue, white and red. The blue and red are the colours of France. The white was the colour old French royalty. It was first used in the French Revolution in 1789.

The French enjoy swimming and Diving.
