About FoxesThere are five species of fox, including the grey fox, but the red fox is the most common. Foxes are Omnivores. They usually only live 2 to 4 years in the wild. It is part of the canine family and looks like a small dog with a bushy tail. Foxes usually hunt at night but sometime come out during the day.

Instead it uses its carnassial or shearing teeth to cut the meat into manageable chunks.

Where They LiveRed foxes live around the world in many diverse habitats including forests, grasslands, mountains, and deserts. They also adapt well to human environments such as farms, suburban areas, and even large communities.
