Known as the "Father Of Toxicology." He established a systematic correlation between the chemical and biological properties of poisons.

He was a pioneer in forensic science who became known as the "Sherlock Holmes of France". He also formulated the basic pricinples of forensic science.

Edmond Locard

He was a French police officer and biometrics researcher. He created an identification system based on physical measurements.

He was known for being many things. For example, he was an English Victorian progressive, polymath, sociologist, psychologist, anthropologist, eugenicist, tropical explorer, geographer, inventor, meteorologist, proto-geneticist, psychometrician, and statistician.

He was an Italian forensic scientist who worked as a researcher at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Italy. He successfully developed a method, the antibody test, for assigning samples to each of the major blood types.
