Glacial Erosion- lifts and carries sediments, deposits sediments in form of till- deposits sediments when glaciers retreat and/or melt- carves landforms over time (fjords, kettle lakes, horns, etc.)Plate Tectonics- 3 types of boundaries:Convergent: Plates push together (mountains, volcanoes, trenches)Divergent: Plates pull apart (mid-ocean ridges, rifts)Transform: Plates slide past one another (earthquakes)- earthquakes occur at every type of boundary

Water Erosion- wears down rocks and carries sediments- can destroy and re-shape land both slowly and quickly- forms lakes, rivers, and caves- caused by rain, floods, rivers, and tsunamis
