Flipped Lesson Reflection #1 (4th Grade)

Blackburn Elementary4th GradePop Art

What went right: -Student engagement was at an all-time high-Creative use of technology (more interactive than just watching a video)-Successful modification for special needs student-Connection to student's prior knowledge and previous lessons

What I would do differently next time:-More confidence-Smoother/clearer clean up procedures-Better classroom management-Less technological errors (not saving/malfunctioning)-Have backups for technology if it does not work!

The way I imagined the "class discussion" in my head is nothing like what actually occured. Side conversations seem to be a huge issue in 4th grade. I know that my classroom management and confidence will improve everytime I teach, so that I will demand more respect and students will stop and listen when they hear my voice.
